Kids these days! They may not know how to write in cursive, but they do know how to bet on their futures. The Wall Street Journal tells the story today of two recent college graduates who founded Ultrinsic.com, a site that allows college kids to bet on their grades. Last year, 600 students at two colleges wagered; this year, more than 1,000 new users have signed up to try their luck. Intern Bar members can try their luck too,…
Welcome to the best city on earth. What a summer we will have together. Being an intern in NYC during the summer is one of the most fantastic opportunities a young person might wish to have, and its even better now because you've found Intern Bar.
Wow, we had a great time out at Statue Garden. Thanks to all the interns who came out and enjoyed! More pictures in the photo gallery. For more information on the party and to come to the next one, go to facebook.com/statuegarden and "like" the page to get updated when the next party is happening…
Here at InternBar we try to constantly be updating our venues, our drink specials, and our guestlists. For a couple weeks now, I've been hosting a table on Tuesday nights at club Marquee (which hopefully some of you remember from this past Friday) and have been inviting my friends and a few interns to enjoy a couple bottles with me courtesy of the hotspot. Now, I want to extend the invite to some of YOU.
Starting tonight, I'll be hosting a much larger table for any of you… Continue

Time seems to be flying by quicker and quicker each week, hope everyone has enjoyed NYC as much as I have so far. One thing I have not done yet is coming out and checking out the shows, plays, musicals, etc..if anyone would be interested in getting a group together for going to any one of these things during the week, it could be fun!
Look forward to seeing everyone out and about at the Intern Bar events!
That's how almost every children's show used to start...."oh my! you caught me by surprise!" even though Mr. Roger's always had his sweater on perfectly just as the music ended (used to stress me out btw, I was always sure he wouldn't quite make it).
It's also, coincidentally, the way that many of my on-campus conversations go. This is due in large part because I can't see very well and lose…
It's already Tuesday, less than two days away from the first event of the [weekend], the Infamous Statue Garden Party. So come on out this Thursday night and enjoy the culture, cool people, and 'cooler' drinks!
In the words of the iconic 21st century movie character, Frank 'The Tank,' "Fill it up again! Fill it up again! Once it hits your lips, it's so good!"
All the best,
Wade

had so much fun out at the pool party yesterday. Justin got in trouble for swinging in to the pool one too many times and actually literally got put in time out by the management. Those of you asked me which song that was which was playing every time Brazil scored, this is it.
Also, remember, drinking and sauna and steam room make for a great day and a great hangover.… Continue

Last time the World Cup was being played, I was with your other Intern Bar coordinator, Frankie, running around in Spain where we watched Italy beat France in a thriller. That day Frankie and I promised each other we'd be together for the next Word Cup, and sure enough, after living apart for these four years, I'm happy to report Frankie will be in NY to make that commitment come true.
I can't believe its been 4 years and the beautiful game is back. I am a big… Continue
DJ Earworm's newest mash-up ought to get y'all through this dreaded Monday and looking forward to our next Intern Bar event this week! Keep your ears peeled.
Also, give it up for our guest bartender and DJ (your fellow interns!) at Sin Sin. If you are interested in bartending or DJing an Intern Bar event, be sure to contact any one of your Intern Bar coordinators: Zak,… Continue
That's what this city does to you. She's a petty temptress who'll make your day so great, and then so immeasurably bad....but all in 10 minutes! Yeah! I was on the train today and at first it was just hot and shitty and i wanted to die (grarrl)....but then my train car wasn't packed even though it took so long to get there (woo!)....but then it was running local (grarrl)....but then I remembered that getting off the 2 train at 96 is much less shitty these days because of the new above ground… Continue
