That's what this city does to you. She's a petty temptress who'll make your day so great, and then so immeasurably bad....but all in 10 minutes! Yeah! I was on the train today and at first it was just hot and shitty and i wanted to die (grarrl)....but then my train car wasn't packed even though it took so long to get there (woo!)....but then it was running local (grarrl)....but then I remembered that getting off the 2 train at 96 is much less shitty these days because of the new above ground entrance (woo!). You know what I mean?

The beginning of my summer has actually been fairly acceptable...June's rent is paid and I'm ready to just settle into my job(s?!) and hang out.

Which is where Intern Bar comes in! So despite the fact that it may or may not take you until the next Ice Age to get anywhere because of all this construction they're doing everywhere (I heard they're not going to be done until 2040 at the earliest), we're still in the greatest city on Earth and we're also still in college which makes us, in my opinion, also the coolest people uh......yeah anywhere. So because of that we're throwing parties for all the interns in the city who are smart enough to join a social network that invites you to some of the best places around the city...YOU GUYS

I think that's more why I'm so excited about this summer because I've been here for a while and if there's one place in the world that can make you feel illegitimate it's the Big Apple. But after your boss is done yelling at you for the day, and you're done yelling at everyone who cuts you off in the street and the slow slow tourists to make up for the yelling at you received earlier.....you can go to some of the best places in the world to take a load off, and they might even be around the corner from you which is NOT possible in many places. We may love to work, but we sure as fuck do love to not work too.....which is REALLY why we're all here isn't it?
